Former Heavyweight boxer Bobby Hitz has once again given boxing fans much to be excited about. He is bringing some topnotch fighters to The Venue for another exciting night of Live Boxing!
Having attended the previous live boxing event, I know that his fighters never disappoint the fans.
In my recent phone interview with Hitz, he shared with me his enthusiasm for the sport that some feel has taken a backseat to Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). To my surprise, Hitz informed me that boxing is still a much bigger Pay-per-view draw than MMA events. Also boxers often enjoy a much higher purse than MMA fighters.
But Hitz Boxing Productions Inc. is making live local boxing events very affordable and thrilling. Bobby Hitz was once the Heavyweight Golden Glove champion right here in Chicago. He is a true Chicagoan and a well-respect boxing promoter. During his professional career, he won 12 out of his 17 fights and went toe-to-toe with the heavy-handed George Foreman.
Last weekend my wife told me that she was going out with her girlfriends (as she often does) but on April 9th she gets to stay home with the kids, so that I can have a Boys Night Out at Horseshoe Casino.
